Day one: – 08h30 guests are met at Kazungula by their guide and are escorted through Immigration formalities. A short briefing will follow on some pertinent facts such as safety, and some regional information. At 09h30 guests board the boat and commence a 3 hour boat cruise into the Chobe National park. The river cruise is considered one of the highlights of the trip, as one gets the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and of course scores of elephant and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. The boat cruise ends at the Kalahari offices at 12h30 . After a hearty lunch at the restaurant there is an opportunity to do last minute shopping in Kasane before departing on an afternoon game drive—this being the best time to see Chobe’s large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink.
Arrive in camp shortly after sunset for drinks around the camp fire and dinner under the stars.
Day two: – Guests are woken at dawn with warm water being poured into their basins and a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day). After a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light continental breakfast, vehicles head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats, or possibly the endangered Wild dogs as they are still active at this time and chances of seeing them are good. Around mid to late morning guests return to camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and a siesta getting an opportunity to read, rest or take a refreshing shower.
When the day starts to cool off another afternoon game drive follows tea, and good sightings are revisited or areas as yet unexplored are visited. Chobe National Park has a wide variety of game – the cats and large herbivores such as elephant and buffalo being a highlight, but rarer game such as Puku ,Eland, Sable and Roan antelope along with many more common antelope can be viewed here. Return to camp after sunset for a reflective fireside chat. Dinner follows, as always accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night.
Day three – After another “dumela” dawn awakening and breakfast, guests leave the national park for an early morning game drive, as this is the second night in the bush the chances are great to find new exciting game around. After the drive we head back to camp for our last and final meal in the campsite. Guests have the time to freshen up and pack up to prepare themself for exciting the camp to head to Kalahari Tours through the park – last chance to explore the National Park on our 4×4 vehicle to then end up for their last but not least boat cruise on Chobe River. After the boat cruise our guests are dropped off in Kasane/Kazungula border at 16h30.
Day One: Pick up and transfer from the border, 3 hour boat cruise, lunch and game drive, campfire dinner and overnight in tented camp.
Day Two: Tea/Coffee, early morning game drive, brunch and afternoon/evening game drive and fireside dinner.
Day Three: Tea Coffee, early morning game drive, brunch in camp. Packing up and heading back to Kalahari Tours for an afternoon boat cruise. Then drop of at facility within in Kasane or at boarder for continued transfer to Victoria Falls or Livingstone.

(visited in early May) We went on 3 day, 2 nights camping trip to Chobe NP. If you want to experience Chobe and don't rush, this trip is for you. It was definitely the best experience on our 14 day stay in Botswana. Very good communication from the beginning, reasonable price, good food and comfortable camp in the bush thanks to Amos and Giugu (not sure with the spelling). Special thanks goes to our guide Mr. T. We were really lucky that he was our guide. He told us plenty of stories and facts about animal behavior, game and tracking. We tracked huge group of lions, elephants, buffalos, impalas and hippos. The very best guide we met in Botswana 11/10!!! :) Thank you! - Kateřina Pavlů x2
The tour guides and assistants were great. Our tour guide George was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. The animals in Chobe National Park are so chilled, you can get really close to them. Everything was provided, we didn't have to do a thing. The food was freshly prepared by MP and was delicious. Only the bush toilet was a bit of a challenge for some! - Steven Kelly x 3
Thank you very much for amazing 3 days in Chobe national park. Specially our guide Mister T did a perfect job. He was very friendly, he told us a lot of interesting things about animals, plants and nature. I also liked the evening conversations by the fire and our card game together. Special thanks to the chef, who cooked for us excellent food at the camp. I can recommend your agency for guiding and organizing safari in Chobe national park. - Gabika Remsikova x4
