Day one: – 08h30 guests are met at Kazungula by their guide and are escorted through Immigration formalities. There is an opportunity to do any last minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the Park. A short briefing will follow on some pertinent facts such as safety, and some regional information. At 09h30 guests board the boat and commence a 3 hour boat cruise into the Chobe National park. The river cruise is considered one of the highlights of the trip, as one gets the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and of course scores of elephant and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. The boat cruise ends at the Coffee Buzz at 12h30. After a satisfying meal there is an opportunity to do any last minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the Park.An afternoon game drive follows and this is the best time to see Chobe’s large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink.
Return to camp shortly after sunset for drinks around the camp fire and dinner.
Day two: – guests are woken at dawn with warm water being poured into their basins and a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day). After a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light continental style breakfast, you head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or Wild dogs as they are still active at this time and chances of seeing them are good. Around mid to late morning guests return to camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to take a refreshing shower. After packing up, all leave the camp on the last drive, to be dropped off in Kasane/Kazungula 16:30.

-Minors traveling through Botswana’s borders will be required to produce certified copies of unabridged birth certificates in addition to their valid passports.
- In the event that one parent is not traveling with the child, the other parent’s affidavit consenting to such travel should be presented.
- Please provide us with the dietary requirements for to be able to cater for you.
Kalahari Tours
We couldn't have asked for more. The tour exceeded our expectations. It was nice being on the smaller boats so that we could get closer to the wildlife on the river banks. The tour guides and the staff at the campsite were brilliant. They went the extra mile for us to have such a unique experience. We really enjoyed the Safari trip, this is our first Africa trip, fully of surprises, we saw almost every animal within very close distance at Chobe National park, such as buffalos, elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, our guide, Chief, did such an amazing job, he is so friendly, explained everything, very patient, we stayed one night at the camp inside the park, Dicks was our chef, he prepared amazing food for us, he is also such a nice person, I love this trip, I would highly recommend Kalahari! - Xin
We has an amazing trip with Kalahari. Everything was very organized and done in a thoughtful manner. The guides were knowledgeable and kind. The food was delicious.
