Day one: – 08h30 guests are met at Kazungula by their guide and are escorted through Immigration formalities. There is an opportunity to do any last minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the Park. A short briefing will follow on some pertinent facts such as safety, and some regional information. At 09h30 guests board the boat and commence a 3 hour boat cruise into the Chobe National park. The river cruise is considered one of the highlights of the trip, as one gets the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and of course scores of elephant and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. The boat cruise ends at the Coffee Buzz at 12h30. After a satisfying meal there is an opportunity to do any last minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the Park.An afternoon game drive follows and this is the best time to see Chobe’s large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink.
Return to camp shortly after sunset for drinks around the camp fire and dinner.
Day two: – guests are woken at dawn with warm water being poured into their basins and a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day). After a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light continental style breakfast, you head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or Wild dogs as they are still active at this time and chances of seeing them are good. Around mid to late morning guests return to camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to take a refreshing shower. After packing up, all leave the camp on the last drive, to be dropped off in Kasane/Kazungula 16:30.

Kalahari Tours
Everything was perfect. A special word about the guide who proved an exceptional knowledge of the wildelife. Camping in the reserve is a real plus, not only for the adventure, but also for starting very early amidst the reserve. We were alone a long time to watch the lions feeding. - Laurent
What an experience we had with Kalahari Holiday Tours!!! Two days of safari, first by boat, getting up close to the animals: elephants, a hippo, and even an iguana. Then three more safaris, intensely focused on searching for the two male lions we spotted in the morning, which our ranger, OP, found again in the afternoon. And the most incredible thing was the leopard we followed for several minutes before it settled in a tree, from where it had spotted an impala. A thousand thanks to OP for allowing us to experience these unique moments. The night spent in a tent listening to the sounds of the bush, the excellent meals prepared by our two guides (I've forgotten their names) delicious, local cuisine!!!! As a seasoned safari-goer, this is by far the best!!! World-class I'll be back soon for another safari. Thank you to the whole team. PS: The transfers organized by Kalahari were also perfect. - Elisabeth
We really had good time during the tour. The organization was excellent, including hotel pick-up and drop-off. The guides and campsite staff were very attentive and took care of all our needs. This was my first camping experience, and I think I'll try many more in the future. Thank you so much for your service! - Miao
Very well organized trip and the personnel were amazing and very knowledgeable. We stayed one night in the park, it was an amazing experience! Very good value for the price and I really can recommend the 2D1N experience! - Minka
My husband and two boys (aged 12 and 11) did a 2D 1N Chobe Camping Tour with Kalahari. The tour was amazing and I highly recommend their services, I would happily use them again. The vehicles they use are so comfortable, there is no bad seat. The vehicle was better than the one we had in Kruger which we paid thousands for. Our tour guide "Free" was great, constantly telling us about everything we were seeing and nothing was too much trouble. The boat cruise was the highlight of our three weeks in Africa, it's jaw dropping. The campsite was great and the food cooked on the fire was delicious. I have no negatives, if you are looking for a tour in Chobe, use Kalahari. - Louise
